Another twist to the California Maki and it’s a great way to use up those mangoes. A perfect sandwich to enjoy that’s filling and delicious.

Ingredients
Garlic Pepper Mayo:
½cupmayo
3clovesgarlicminced
½tspground black pepper
½tspsalt
1tsplemon juice
Others:
Fried chicken stripshomemade or store-bought
Lettuce
Ripe mango slices
Cucumber slices
Imitation crabsliced
Tortilla wrapsI used large size tortilla wraps
Instructions
In a bowl, add all ingredients for the garlic pepper mayo. Mix and keep in the fridge for 30 minutes to develop more flavor. Do a taste test and adjust if necessary.
Warm up the tortillas on a pan over low heat. Place it on a plate; arrange the lettuce, chicken strips, mango, cucumber and imitation crab. Add garlic pepper mayo on top and then wrap.
Heat/brown on a pan over low heat.
Serve immediately.
Recipe Notes
The imitation crab is optional.
If you dislike the sauce, you can use whatever you prefer. The garlic pepper mayo recipe below is good for 4-5 twisters. I made more and used it as a dipping sauce for the extra chicken strips I had.
You can make your own chicken strips instead of buying. I was just lazy to do it so I bought them instead.
I made two twisters using large tortilla wraps.
