Pancit Canton

Pancit Canton is one of the dishes you can find when attending a Filipino birthday party or gathering.

Like Pancit Bihon or any other pancit dish, Pancit Canton symbolizes long life, provided you don’t cut the noodles short before eating them.

It is a Filipino stir-fried noodles made with wheat flour stick noodles, a variety of protein/meat, and veggies. I used soy sauce and oyster sauce to season the pancit.

The preparation and cooking method is not complicated at all. However, please make sure to have all your ingredients ready. After 30 minutes or less, you can enjoy your meal.

You can enjoy the Pancit Canton as is, or you can enjoy it with bread, roasted chicken, or anything you fancy.

I love Pancit Canton as a filling for a white slice of bread. Carbs on carbs? Definitely yes!
