Chocolate and Caramel Sauce Frappe
I’ve been very busy I forgot to share this delicious Chocolate and Caramel Sauce Frappe. I wanted just to skip this one and proceed with the next recipe to share, but this came out really amazing I need to tell the whole world. Plus, I found a very good way, if not the best, to enjoy your frappe to the fullest.
The not-so-secret: make your milk ice cubes and coffee ice cubes. In that way, your frappe will not taste like flavored water.
Let’s make this amazing drink!
I made ice cubes made of milk and strong coffee. I placed them in a blender, then I added milk (to make the ice cubes easier to blend), cacao nibs (to balance the sweetness and for a delicious texture – like a sand of cacao in your frappe), and chocolate and caramel sauce (pictured below). The chocolate caramel sauce is so silky and sinful I can literally finish it off in one sitting! It is amazing with ice cream, too, and ahhhh… pancakes!! But I thought adding it to frappe is a good idea, too. And I was not disappointed.
You can use your favorite sauce – chocolate + caramel, only chocolate or only caramel. It is up to you. But I am sure, whatever you choose, it would be delish!
The recipe below is only for one serving. I was just testing the recipe I didn’t know it would be so good! Go ahead and make it double, triple… And please let me know. 😉
I am taking this fantastic drink with me at Fiesta Friday #242 and I am so thrilled because I am co-hosting this week with the talented Jenny @ Apply to Face Blog.
Chocolate and Caramel Sauce Frappe
This frappe is surely a winner - the taste, the texture - everything! You may need to double this up!
Ingredients
- ½ cup milk ice cubes
- ½ cup coffee ice cubes
- 1 tbsp cacao nibs
- ¼ cup milk
- ¼ - 1/3 cup chocolate caramel sauce
Instructions
-
In a blender, add all ingredients and pulse until all has been blended smoothly.
-
Transfer to a glass and enjoy!
Recipe Notes
You can add whipped cream on top, chocolate syrup and chocolate shavings.
Before you go…
Do you want another drink, but healthy? Why not make this Superfood Chocolate Banana Smoothie? It may look so chocolatey, but it is packed with superfoods.

Great recipe Jhuls and I wouldn’t have even thought to make the ice cubes with milk and coffee, so good to see it doesn’t have any extra refined sugar either!
