Ingredients

  • 6 saging na saba ripe
  • 750 ml freshly squeezed coconut milk
  • ½ cup brown sugar you can add more later, if desired
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract optional
  • Durian jam optional

Instructions

  1. Put everything in a pot.
  2. Cook in a medium heat for 10-15 minutes or until the bananas are cooked.
  3. Serve warm.

Recipe Notes

  • The durian jam is completely optional. I know some of my kababayans (fellow Filipinos) don’t like durian so this is completely optional.
  • The bananas can be sliced before cooking – just shorten the cooking time.
  • Personally, I love this warm.
  • It is preferable to use fresh coconut milk.
