A delicious and refreshing drink that’s perfect for summer. It has a mint-infused syrup and more mint leaves to make that mint flavor really stand out without messing up the taste of watermelon and lemon. It is really one of the best lemonades you’ll ever have.
In a small pot over low heat, add water, sugar, and fresh mint leaves. Bring to simmer for 5 minutes. Set aside to cool down. When cooled down, strain the syrup to remove the mint leaves.
It is nice to keep the watermelon very cold - it makes your drink colder and lovely to enjoy right away.
You can add more mint leaves (in step 3) to have that mint flavor really stand out, but it will give your drink a darker color. As for me, I don’t mind - I love it!
At the end, you can adjust the taste according to your liking - add more lemon juice, mint or water.
