Cookie Butter Overnight Oats

This Cookie Butter Overnight Oats made me love overnight oats.

I never liked oatmeals. The sticky-like and mushy texture – no! I do enjoy a good oat drink, but never ever oatmeals, especially when it is cold like overnight oats.

I tried making different oatmeals, but I didn’t like all of them. Then I thought – maybe oatmeal will never be a part of my world. Well, that was before I discovered the yumminess of cookie butter a few years ago.

I was alone, reading a book and I wanted something to eat. I saw a jar of cookie butter and a container with oats next to each other. And I thought – ‘why not?‘. Then it was the time I started to like oatmeal (note: only the one mixed with cookie butter).

Although I started to like oatmeal, I never tried overnight oats. Well, my idea of a delicious oatmeal is fresh and warm. Again, I was open to the idea of trying overnight oats. I tried something else and it was oookaaaaay, but not blogable (alert!!! that’s a new word! lolol). I  finished the whole serving, but I don’t think I’ll be making it again. Then I thought – maybe overnight oats will never be a part of my world. I know – I have mentioned that before.

Then one day, I was in a grocery store and I saw a jar of cookie butter. I was like ‘Aha! You are the answer to my overnight oats!‘ The next thing I know, the jar is almost empty because I have used 95% of the cookie butter in making overnight oats and I enjoyed every spoonful of this cold, sticky-like, mushy creation.

Some of the best things about this overnight oats –  this has only 3 ingredients, ready in less than 5 minutes and can stay up to 2 days in the fridge. Or can it stay more than that??

I  am bringing this at Fiesta Friday #222. Our co-host this week is Antonia.
