Cloudy Watermelon and Mint Cooler

Ask me from what planet do I came from, but let me tell you that I was not a lover of Mint and anything with Mint. I WAS NOT, but I AM NOW!

Watermelon, on the other hand, is one of the fruits I’d love to eat but I always feel lazy when it comes to removing the seeds; seedless are not always available. When I finally decided to do the change, I thought of Watermelon juice or some sort of smoothie. So, I prepared some Watermelon and put it in the blender. When I was about to turn the blender into ‘pulse’, I can see that the Watermelon alone is ‘sad’, so I took some fresh Mint leaves (that were really meant for something else) and put it with the Watermelon.

Instructions: Put everything in a blender and blend well. Transfer to a glass and drink immediately.

I’ve read somewhere that Watermelon has a mind of its own and it is better to be juiced or blended alone. But, Watermelon and Mint is beyond perfect. And I must say that this has been a favorite drink of mine especially during morning, just before I eat solid foods for breakfast.

If you have not tried this, then you should! I cannot go on a day without this. 🙂

Aside from refreshing, Watermelon and Mint are good for weight loss. Watermelon has fewer calories and it make you feel full. Mint on the other hand, stimulates the digestion of fat.
